Plateau photographs a single female figure from directly overhead, lying on her back on the floor with arms at sides and legs together, her body a straight line centred in a wide horizon blue frame. Her Ankara dress spreads around her in earth tones. Her charcoal face is directed upward into the camera, eyes open, completely present. Around her body at a distance of six inches from every edge, a line of white light traces her silhouette as if an invisible hand is sketching her from above. This is a one of one original piece, the only work of its kind in the world, a mixed media fine art work of photography and digital art, Giclée printed on museum quality 310gsm Textured Fine Art Cotton Rag. An unusual and visually arresting Nigerian painting that works as both home decor and serious fine art, available at Naija Art Store for collectors who appreciate the unexpected angle.
