Owambe Panorama

Owambe Panorama is the widest, most populated, and most joyful composition in the collection, ten figures spread across the full landscape frame in deep royal purple and gold aso-ebi, every one of them doing something different and completely true to a Nigerian party. Money is being sprayed, a gele is being adjusted, someone is laughing with their head back, someone is eating, someone is photographing, and above all ten heads a cloud of gold butterflies crosses the full width of the frame, each one a naira note that decided mid-air to become something more alive. This is a one of one original piece, the only work of its kind anywhere in the world, a mixed media fine art work of photography and digital art, Giclée printed on museum quality 310gsm Textured Fine Art Cotton Rag. An unmissable piece of Nigerian painting and home decor for anyone who has ever been to a proper owambe and understood it as theatre. Available at Naija Art Store.
