Kú Ọlà, meaning Die with Honour, presents an elder male figure standing with a carved staff held horizontally before him in both arms extended forward, not using the staff but presenting it, offering it. He wears a full white agbada with gold embroidery and his skull paint is rendered in gold, the skull as wisdom rather than warning. Along the length of the horizontally presented staff, small white flowers open one after another from one end to the other as we watch, the staff becoming a flowering branch being ceremonially handed over. This is a one of one original piece, the only work of its kind anywhere in the world, a mixed media fine art work of photography and digital art, Giclée printed on museum quality 310gsm Textured Fine Art Cotton Rag. A deeply dignified Nigerian painting about the art of completing a life well, available at Naija Art Store.
