Kano at First Light captures the ancient city of Kano in the breathless stillness of early morning, the moment before the call to prayer, before the market stirs, before the harmattan dust rises to blur the minarets against a sky burning gold and cobalt. A figure in pristine white Hausa ceremonial robe stands at one end of the frame, bookending a city that has held its identity across centuries. A narrow band of pure morning light stands in front of him like a second presence. This mixed media fine art piece is a Giclée print on museum quality 310gsm Textured Fine Art Cotton Rag, part of a global limited edition of just 20 prints. A commanding work of African painting that brings the ancient north of Nigeria into any contemporary space with quiet authority. Available exclusively at Naija Art Store.
