Entoroj draws from the Maasai tradition in which women are the builders of the family home, presenting a young Maasai woman from the waist up with both arms raised in the posture of pressing wet mud into a wall surface, palms pushing forward against the air. She wears a simple shuka wrap, her bead collar visible at the throat. On the invisible surface her hands press against, a house wall materialises exactly where she touches, smooth red mud surface appearing beneath her palms and spreading outward from the contact, filling the lower half of the frame with the surface of a home built from nothing and bare hands.
