Empty Chair, Full Table seats a single female figure at a low table set for two, both plates present, both cups filled, both chairs pulled back. She sits in one chair, leaning forward on both elbows with hands folded, her face directed at the empty chair across from her in deep and private conversation with someone not there. On the empty plate across the table, a warm glow emanates from the surface as if food has been placed on it by an invisible hand, the table set for someone the eye cannot confirm but the heart clearly recognises. This is a one of one original piece, the only work of its kind in the world, a mixed media fine art work of photography and digital art, Giclée printed on museum quality 310gsm Textured Fine Art Cotton Rag. A quietly devastating Nigerian painting about grief, love, and the conversations that do not end when the person does. Available at Naija Art Store.
