Ẹgúngún Solo presents a single Egungun ancestral masquerade in extraordinary purple, gold, and electric blue aso-oke strips, standing with both arms raised straight above the head, wrists loosely crossed at the top, legs slightly apart, head tilted back and the masked face directed upward in the classic Egungun posture of invocation. The entire body is a vertical line crowned by raised arms. From the crossed wrists at the peak of the composition, a single beam of gold light descends straight down through the centre of the figure to the floor below, a channel opened, something flowing in from above.
