Eba and Everything seats an elderly woman at a low table with both hands submerged in a large clay bowl, in the act of moulding eba with the ease of someone who has done this ten thousand times. Her back curves slightly over the work, face tilted downward toward the bowl in total concentration and total peace. The eba in the bowl glows warmly, the light of bread that has kept the sun inside it, illuminating her charcoal hands from below in golden light that comes up through the dough. This deeply human mixed media African painting is Giclée printed on museum quality 310gsm Textured Fine Art Cotton Rag and issued as a limited edition of only 20 prints worldwide. A celebration of the Nigerian kitchen as sacred space, available at Naija Art Store as framed art for homes, restaurants, and any wall that wants to feel fed.
