Àṣà, the Yoruba word for culture, fills a blazing coral orange frame with eight figures in different traditional dress, all mid-celebration, all in different expressions of the same joy. One has arms raised, one claps, one holds a calabash, one spins, one laughs, one drums, one punches the air with both fists, one stands with hands above the head. From every raised arm across all eight figures, flower petals fall in different colours, filling the upper half of the frame with a slow wide rain of collective joy. This is a one of one original piece, the only work of its kind in existence, a mixed media fine art work of photography and digital art, Giclée printed on museum quality 310gsm Textured Fine Art Cotton Rag. A vibrant and culturally rich African painting that makes an immediate and lasting impression as wall painting in hotels, institutions, and private collections. Available at Naija Art Store.
