Agere Masquerade captures the acrobatic Yoruba Agere spirit in the one moment the performance never shows, the held breath between movements. The costumed figure stands balanced on a single leg, the other extended horizontally behind the body, both arms spread at shoulder height, maintaining a stillness that only makes the implied motion more vivid. Beneath the single standing foot, a small perfect circle of still water holds the figure’s reflection in miniature, the balance finding its mirror in the floor. This dynamic mixed media fine art print is Giclée printed on museum quality 310gsm Textured Fine Art Cotton Rag and issued as a limited edition of only 20 prints worldwide. A visually electric piece of fine art that brings the energy and discipline of Yoruba masquerade tradition into any art gallery, home, or corporate space. Available at Naija Art Store.
